繼遊騎兵、紅襪隊後，巨人隊昨天在季後賽分區系列賽第二戰二比五不敵小熊隊，成為第三支吞下二連敗的球隊；巨人「偶數年奇蹟」出現重大危機，明天第三戰回到自己舊金山主場，「十醫院電動床推薦月殺手」邦賈納又要扮演救世主的角色。
巨人前天○比一輸球，昨天再度打線無力，全場只有六支安打，無力扭轉戰局，明天如果再輸就要打包，無法複製二○一○、一二、一四年都獲世界大賽冠軍的歷史。
巨人從一○年季後賽起，專打沒有退路的比賽，面臨淘汰之戰拚出九連勝；邦賈納在季後賽已經連續廿三局未失分，就連打擊也是大聯盟投手數一數二，小熊教頭麥登深知，明天第三戰在巨人的地盤絕不好打。
邦賈納一四年世界大賽第五戰完封勝皇家隊，第七戰後援五局無失分，加上今年外卡驟死賽完封勝大都會隊，一路讓對手掛零。
小熊明天將推出去年國聯塞揚獎投手艾里耶塔先發，麥登說：「他們有很好的投手，我們也有，這會是一場很有趣的比賽。」
小熊昨出現九支安打，全場五分打點竟有三分是投手群貢獻，包括先發投手漢崔克斯二局下安打攻下兩分，後援投手伍德四局下追加陽春砲；巨人打完前兩戰，毫無機會取得領先。
